The insurance, agriculture, and cement sectors are among the seven sectors have been pointed out as some of the areas engaging in uncompetitive business practices. According to the competition authority of Kenya director general Francis Kariuki some insurance companies are also issuing premium rates that are below the minimum requirements. The authority is currently conducting investigations in these identified sectors with some investigations expected to be completed within two months. Report by Nicholas Nduati.
